Seawater desalination stands as a core business of Profix Group. Equipped with world-class technologies and operational expertise, the company has established a global presence. The Tianjin Dagang Seawater Desalination Plant, a landmark project in China, is managed, constructed and operated by Profix's technical team. Tianjin Dagang Newspring Seawater Desalination Co., Ltd., founded in 2004, specializes in desalinated water production and supply. It ranks among China’s earliest and most specialized large-scale membrane-based seawater desalination enterprises. With a designed capacity of 150,000 tons/day and an operational capacity of 100,000 tons/day, the plant employs a "dual-membrane system" as its core treatment technology. In 2010, it received the Global Water Awards "Highly Commended Desalination Plant of the Year." Guided by a philosophy of technology-driven efficiency and energy conservation, the company ensures integrated planning and optimized management to deliver reliable desalinated water for petrochemical industrial parks.

Profix is committed to build a Yangzhou Industrial Park specialized in desalination advanced equipment manufacturing with sustainable development and with the integration of green clean energy, comprehensive utilization of seawater desalination, desalination core equipment localization production, AI smart water services and financial services. With high attention to innovation and R&D, the company hope to constantly expand the depth and breadth of seawater resources comprehensive utilization through new membrane materials application combined with new energy-saving technologies. The company actively promote the application of green electricity energy-saving technologies such as micro-wind power generation technology, buoyancy power generation technology, new energy storage technology, and ultra-high efficiency magnetic motors in the field of seawater desalination. Profix is accelerating pilot testing to localize core equipment like high-pressure pumps, reinforced high-flux ultrafiltration membranes, ultra-high-pressure reverse osmosis membranes, and high-performance ceramic membranes. By integrating resources and modern IT systems, the group strives to achieve intelligent water plant management, unmanned facilities, enhanced operational efficiency and water supply security.

Profix Newspring Construction Engineering (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.

Formerly known as Hyflux Newspring Construction Engineering (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., the company specializes in water infrastructure development with proven technical expertise and extensive project experience in the water sector.

Established in 2005 as the China subsidiary of SGX-listed company "HYFLUX", it underwent strategic restructuring in 2024, integrating resources to advance its capabilities in comprehensive water solutions.





Tianjin Dagang Newspring Seawater Desalination Co., Ltd.

Registered in 2004, Tianjin Dagang Newspring Seawater Desalination Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Dagang Newspring Plant") ranks among China's earliest and most specialized large-scale membrane-based seawater desalination enterprises. Strategically located in Tianjin's Dagang Petrochemical Park, the plant neighbors Dagang Power Plant and serves primary clients like Sino-Saudi Petrochemical within a 10km radius.

The facility is designed with a total capacity of 150,000 tons per day, occupying approximately 180 Chinese mu (29.7 acres) of land. Its construction is divided into two phases: Phase I with a capacity of 100,000 tons per day and Phase II with 50,000 tons per day. Phase I has been fully completed and is currently operational, managed by a team of 51 operation and maintenance personnel.

Hyflux High-Tech Products (Yangzhou) Co., Ltd.

Hyflux High-Tech Products (Yangzhou) Co., Ltd., a Profix Group managed entity, operates from Building 8 within Yangzhou Export Processing Zone at No.9 Yangzijiang South Road, Yangzhou City.

Incorporated in 2007 with a fully paid-up registered capital of RMB 48,652,105.16, it specializes in the research, development, and production of household water/liquid filtration and purification equipment, eco-friendly domestic products, membrane-based systems and their components, alongside providing comprehensive after-sales maintenance services.

The facility is situated on an 18,040.40-square-meter land parcel (4.46 acres) with a built-up area of 23,115.00 square meters (5.71 acres), holding land use rights valid through November 10, 2055.
